Appearance: The young and fiery Primera Espada that is Serena is something to behold of not just for her beauty, but her personality, attitude and her abilities as being the second most powerful Arrancar in existence. Her youthful and happy appearance is rather offsetting considering her great spiritual power and being one of the leading Arrancars. Her lightly sun-kissed skin has a perfect complexion to it with no scars, blemishes or marks of any kind, making her look absolutely stunning. Her 5’6” body with a fit D-cup torso and long legs makes her body look like it’s in absolutely pristine shape that only a model of her size can pull off. Her large stunning silver-grey eyes are something that not many people can match in beauty for it is a truly unnatural color that adds even more beauty to her. Her smooth, fiery red hair is kept to where it reaches the top of her waist like a flowing mane of fire. Mixed within her hair are two large feathers the hang in the center of the back of her head. These feathers are an equally fiery crimson and each have a yellow oval within it. Her bangs are kept in a fashion where a few lay over her face and each are tipped with a natural orange to give it a realistic fire look to it. A rather interesting feature to her that is also quite eye catching is the stream of small red feathers that line down her back.  They stretch the width of her neck at the top while traveling down her back and getting smaller before stopping a few inches above her waist. Her small hollow hole is located at the center of her chest right above her ample chest. Her Number “1” Espada number is located on her left arm right below her shoulder. Her mask fragments take the form of two different objects. They are eight small curved spikes, split up into twos clasped together, one group on the top of her ear and one group on the bottom of the ear and they are located on both ears. The other takes the form of a black head band that has a small bird beak on the center of it.

Serena has an outfit that is quite uniquely designed and is very fashionable for her, easily being one of the more unique and well designed outfits than the other Espada. Her top consists of two long cloths crossing over each other to create a rather open yet fashionable look. The two cloths originate at her shoulders where they are thin. As they cross over and travel down they get gradually wider and soon cover almost the entirety of her ample chest but leave an oval shaped opening where her navel and some of her abdomen is so it can be seen. These cloths continually get wider as they travel down to where they meet in the back to create one whole cloth in the back while leaving her front open. The cloth in total travels all the way down to the bottom of her knees and it is outlined with the Arrancars’ standard black stripes. Her Hakama and sandals are standard and seem to have no modifications to them. As for accessories however, she does have a loose, random sleeve on her right arm that stretches from her elbow to her wrist. Also on her right arm is a small well designed arm band made of a rope-like material and is dull black-brown color with small orb tassels on it as well. On her left wrist she has a regal and some sort of fantasy based tattoo that has many patterns that make it look like something seen from a fantasy story. Her sash however is probably her most noticeable feature of her uniform. It is a beautiful fiery crimson color and the tips of it are yellow and designed in a flame pattern. Hanging off the ends of the sash are small tassels with red orbs hanging off of them.

Aspect of Death: Serenity

Personality: Serena’s personality is actually a direct derelict from her Aspect of Death. She is actually a very serene, friendly and caring person; something that is normally frowned upon by her peers but her sheer power is enough to fear them and keep their mouths shut. Serena’s serenity and peacefulness has allowed her to be a pivotal figure in the armies of Hueco Mundo for she is the main reason why the Espada and Gotei have kept a peace between each other ever since she became the Primera. One quirk about her personality is that she is actually very ill tempered. She can be a very calm individual at one moment, but if she is annoyed, flustered or angered in any way, she is very easy to snap and lash out. When this rage is unleashed, then one better brace themselves for a fiery wrath that is very hard to calm down. One thing that Serena is very sensitive about, is her highly prized feathers in her hair. These feathers are very precious to Serena, even more than her own life. They are impervious to her fire based abilities but no others and if they are damaged or taken then she would be thrown into a terrible tantrum that will easily turn into a living hell on earth until she regains what is rightfully hers.

Abilities: Although Adalia Alma, the Cuatra Espada, is considered the Cero Master of the Espada due to her variation of Cero’s, Serena has the most powerful Cero in itself. She is able to fire her orange Cero from any point of her body whether it be in her hand, foot, or mouth, allowing her to fire at any angle, but she can only fire one Cero at a time. Her Cero is so powerful that it can cut through an entire neighborhood in a single blast; also a unique effect of it is that it has a fiery effect to it much like Adalia’s Corona Cero but in a different sense. Instead of acting like a giant battering ram or cannonball, it’s more like a missile. Whenever she wants to, Serena can detonate her Cero into an incredibly powerful explosion that can rip a city block apart. Next to her Cero, her Sonido is her best attribute. Serena’s Sonido isn’t the fastest, but it ranks about second and this allows her to be able to attack at all angles which can definitely cause problems for her enemies. After that, it is her Zanjutsu. Her Zanjutsu is quite talented for an Espada and is among the best but she normally resorts to using her Resurreccion almost first handedly. All her other skills as an Espada such as Hakuda, Hierro, Strength, and Intelligence are all balanced at a normal level.

Sealed State: The sealed state of Serena’s Resurrecion takes the form of a Nodachi that she keeps tied to her back in a yellow scabbard. The hilt is normally found peaking diagonally from the back of her left shoulder. Her Nodachi has a yellow hilt wrapping and a red steel hilt which oddly doesn’t match the rest of the steel on the blade. The tsuba of the blade a standard silver color and is shaped in a plain circle. On the tsuba however, a red ring of fire marking could be seen etched into it, making it look more unique. Also hanging from the side by a small silver ring is a red feather charm that looks like it is plucked straight from some kind of red feathered bird.

Resurreccion: Fenix ( Phoenix ): To push the mighty Primera to her limits to the point where she has to use her mighty resurreccion, then whoever she is facing must be a strong opponent. The devastating Resurreccion is also eye opening in the fact that it is rather beautiful as well as being powerful. To release it, Serena will hold her sword with an outstretched arm with the blade tip facing downwards towards the ground. Her fiery crimson reiatsu will start to overtake her body originating at her feet and working up and then outwards like she was being overtaken by a flame. One could notice that the initial temperature of the surrounding area is significantly warmer to the point that it could be considered hot as her body gains reiatsu. She will then clearly state, “Incinerate, Fenix” instantly causing a blast of hot air, fire, and crimson reiatsu to burst forth from her body into the surrounding area. A thin tornado of blazing hot fire will surround her body and cause her to be cut off from view as her body changes into her resurreccion form. When the flame dies down it reveals her knew, rather surprising looking form of her resurreccion. Her physical form hasn’t changed, but her attire and accessories have changed tremendously. Her two feathers in her hair have melded into one large feather that is even more beautiful and smooth than before. Two smooth white pieces of cloth hang from her mask fragments to add to the accessories. In her hair, many small, smooth feathers have accumulated and made her hair seem very straight and sleek so that it is more streamline when she moves. Her attire top has turned into a beautiful corset shaped piece made of fiery red and burning orange designs that replicate the look of raging flames. The corset covers the majority of her cleavage while going down to the bottom of her hips and between her legs, leaving her long legs bare. Hanging from the back of the corset are two long coattails that resemble the tailfeathers of a bird. Though her thighs are bare, her legs are covered in long, thin boots that seem very pristine and finely fashioned. The boots resemble the same design as the corset and travel up to her knees before stopping. The final piece to her new form is the oddly shaped Guan Dao that she carries. The rod of the Guan Dao is about four meters long and is rather thin, but it is also made of extremely durable red glass that could take just about as much damage as one can think. The blade is smaller than a normal Guan Dao but is extremely sharp and is also heated, making it able to slice through certain things like a hot knife. In this form, all of her attributes have been leveled up to amazingly powerful levels. Her Cero is even faster, wider, stronger and her Sonido can be more rapid and unpredictable. Also, the air around Serena is drastically hot, peaking at about 135 degrees Fahrenheit. This can cause fatigue quickly in an unprepared opponent.

Incendio Tormenta (Blaze Storm): This attack is the literal meaning to “all Hell breaks loose”. With this attack, Serena can turn an entire town into a charred and burnt parking lot. A flame will form in a ring on the ground around her and her enemy before suddenly shooting up and creating a swirling vortex of intensely hot fire that will constantly swirl and blaze around her and her opponent. This attack is meant to confine her and her enemy to a smaller battlefield, causing her opponent to resort to using smaller tactics or they could risk burning themselves. If someone had the courage to move out of the vortex, they would risk majorly burning themselves if they aren’t protected by any sort of ability or equipment.

Nacido de las Cenizas (Born of Ash): This is a true last resort ability for Serena to use, it is very risky and she has only used it once in her entire lifetime as an Arrancar. It is meant for a final attack and even quick escape if she is hanging by a thread in the midst of battle. To start it, her Guan Dao will ignite in flames as billows and clouds of ash will start flowing out of the end of the staff, quickly starting to surround her before a large blast will rupture out from the staff. This is one of her strongest moves and if someone finds themselves to close, they would burn to ash from the explosion of raw energy. As soon as the ash makes contact with her skin, Serena’s body will ignite in amazingly hot flames that are nearly untouchable to the strongest of combatants. Slowly and painlessly, her body will start to deteriorate and disintegrate into grains of ash before she will disappear. In a specified location, set by her before she used the ability, her ash will start to form up in a pile at the location. When the pile is complete, it will solidify and soon a small phoenix chick will emerge from the ashes. This chick is Serena in a weakened and vulnerable state that will last for a few days. After the few days of rest, her body will reform into her Arrancar form. No one has ever seen her in her chick form before so no one knows it’s her.
